Duties & Responsibilities: This is not a complete list of this position’s duties and responsibilities. The items below are examples of the types of activities performed. Other duties may be assigned.

Primary Purpose: The Manager of Ready Now Recovery is tasked with the leadership and operational management of the Ready Now Recovery program, ensuring its effectiveness, growth, and alignment with the broader objectives of Adult & Teen Challenge Central Canada. This role is pivotal in executing strategies that promote program consistency, community engagement, volunteer involvement, and sustainable fundraising efforts.
Primary Responsibilities: 

  • Ready Now Recovery Program Leadership and Development:
  • Ensure the effective operation of recovery support groups across Central Canada, to meet the request of the ministry 
  • Provide leadership to outpatient ministries, including jail ministry
  • Develop and refine program strategies to enhance outreach and service delivery.
  • Plan and prepose annual budget plans for approval 
  • Plan and support fundraising efforts for the ministry 

  • Marketing and Outreach:
  • Lead marketing efforts to increase visibility and engagement with Ready Now Recovery.
  • Create and distribute promotional materials to businesses, churches, and community organizations.

  • Partnership Development:
  • Build and maintain strategic relationships with local businesses, churches, and community leaders.
  • Offer program partnerships to organizations for the benefit of their staff or congregations.
  • Staff / Volunteer Management:
  • Recruit, train, and manage volunteers to support various program activities.
  • Organize volunteer training workshops and ensure volunteers are well-prepared to meet the needs of the program.
  • Staff / Volunteer Training:
  • Conduct staff training sessions to ensure high standards of care and support are maintained.
  • Promote continuous professional development and training among staff members.
  • Fundraising Initiatives:
  • Design and implement fundraising strategies to support the financial health of the program.
  • Engage the community and stakeholders in fundraising activities and events.
  • Performance Measurement and Reporting:
  • Regularly evaluate program impact and outcomes through appropriate metrics.
  • Prepare and present detailed reports on program progress and challenges to the leadership team of Adult & Teen Challenge.
  • Strategic Leadership:
  • Provide visionary leadership that aligns with the mission and values of Adult & Teen Challenge.
  • Identify and improve ways we can increase our hospitality for those attending the programs.
  • Following direction from executive leadership and accreditation standards
  • Ensure ATCCC is excellently represented in all community presentations.
  • Ensure that each office location meets the annual operation requirements at set forth. 
  • Ensure each location meets safety & accreditation standards.
  • Raise awareness of the organization and its primary goals through outreach efforts, regular events in the community, publications, and media relations
  • Cultivate and maintains relationships with local advisory committees and donors by responding to their inquiries, keeping them apprised of recent events with the organization and showing them the progress, their support has made possible.
  • Assist with the overall development of local ministry growth, fundraising, administration, planning and communication. 
  • Ensure accurate reports and information are being accomplished.
  • Continued personal growth training plan.
  • Willing to be trained in other departments to help cover staff vacation/sick/shortages in other departments.

Key Factors:
  • Able to travel regularly to other locations for leading groups, training and developing staff/volunteers, meetings, and other needs.
  • Able to self-manage time well.
  • Flexible with hours/days worked as needs arise, evenings and weekends are required for this position.
  • Willing to participate in training and development as requested.
Budgetary:
  • To assist with the setting of Ready Now Recovery budget goals
  • Participate, promote, and support fundraising for the ministry of ATCCC.

Collaboration: Responsible for communicating with all area Directors for Community Office updates, growth, or needs that arise.

Decision Making: Communicate and report suggested changes with the appropriate leadership for approval.

Qualifications:
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with a wide variety of potential donors and clients.
  • Highly motivated self-starter that demonstrates knowledge of development strategies, and public relations
  • Public speaking skills are required for speeches at fundraising events, presentations to donors on recent achievements, and meetings with the local volunteer advisory team. 
  • Able to inspire trust and camaraderie in employees and potential donors alike.
  • Able to be an example to other staff in daily living.
  • Actively demonstrate and maintain excellent working relationships with all program staff and all other departments.
  • Strong organizational skills and highly effective communication skills
  • Strong understanding of the DNA of the Adult & Teen Challenge ministry
  • Understanding of human nature and the physical and spiritual battles
  • Working knowledge and willingness to adapt to web-based programs and reporting.
  • Ability to diffuse tense situations.
  • Ability to mentor and lead others
  • Valid driver's license

Work Environment: Regional Community Offices - Main office at Head Office 83 Kate St. 

Compensation

$53,000.00 per year
