Residential Addiction Program Support Worker
Position Summary
Adult & Teen Challenge of Central Canada is seeking a mature and compassionate Residential Program Support Worker to assist with the daily supervision and operations of our In-Residence Program. This role provides Christ-centred leadership to students and helps foster a structured, safe, and spiritually grounded environment that supports recovery and transformation.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide consistent supervision and Christ-like leadership to students
- Ensure program rules, schedules, and procedures are followed
- Supervise approved on-site visits
- Oversee medication times, including proper dispensing and documentation
- Assist with student appointments and transportation as required
- Support class supervision and student contract progression tracking
- Assist Phase Managers and support group facilitation
- Participate in and support ministry fundraising initiatives
- Provide leadership to SURGE ELP (aftercare) students and the broader student body
- Schedule includes evenings and weekends as assigned by the Campus Manager.
Required Qualifications
- Demonstrated emotional and spiritual maturity
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to manage challenging situations calmly and diplomatically
- Understanding of addiction recovery and discipleship environments
- Ability to build positive working relationships across departments
- Valid driver’s licence
Faith Alignment Requirement
This role requires alignment with the Christian beliefs and ministry expectations of ATCCC, including active participation in prayer, discipleship, and faith-based community life within the program.
Compensation
$40,000.00 - $42,000.00 per year
